Venture to the ancient and mystical country of India for their vibrant Holi festival!
We’ll start our journey in New Delhi, where we will dine together on the first evening, getting to know more about India and one another. We’ll explore Delhi, visiting one of the largest mosques in India, shopping in a local market for dried fruit and spices, and taking a thrilling ride on a rickshaw.
After taking in the sights and sounds, we’ll travel to Mathura, the birthplace of lord Krishna and the primary cultural center for the Holi festival. The streets of Mathura are full of vibrant colored power and the traditional festival vibes followed by dance.
As the festival comes to an end, we’ll head to Agra to see one of the Seven Wonders of the World, the Taj Mahal. You’ll be treated to lunch at a local Indian family residence, before boarding a train and heading back to Delhi.
With an itinerary full of adventure, downtime to explore on your own, and a once-in-a-lifetime festival, this is one trip you won’t want to miss!
